Rubber mulch

Rubber mulch is one of the most popular playground surfacing options on the market. Not only is it highly durable and non-toxic, every inch of rubber mulch increases a playground’s safety rating.

Reasons to choose rubber mulch:

  • Does not decompose, displace, compact, create dust, absorb water, or attract insects
  • Comes in a range of fade-resistant colors
  • 100% environmentally sustainable, recycled options available
Rubber safety mats

Designed for use under playground equipment, high-traffic areas, swing sets, tire swings, and merry-go-rounds, rubber safety mats help limit displacement of loose fill from kick-out areas on the playground. They offer a unique combination of shock reduction, low maintenance, long wear, and accessibility.

Reasons to choose rubber mats:

  • Available in fade-resistant colors
  • Specialized mats for swing sets, tire swings, and merry-go-rounds available
  • 100% environmentally sustainable, recycled options available
Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF)

Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) is a low-cost, natural-looking option that provide superior safety to any playground. With raking and occasional resurfacing, it forms a secure layer that supports mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs.

Synthetic turf

Synthetic turf is lush, beautiful, green grass that is safe for kids to play on and soft to fall on. It is designed to hold up to extreme playground traffic while providing ADA access and fall protection.

Poured-in-place rubber

Poured-in-place safety surfacing is a unique combination of EPDM/TPV rubber granules layered over a cushion of shredded recycled rubber tires. A binder is poured in place on-site, resulting in a seamless surface. This poured-in-place rubber playground surface provides critical protection from falls for children on playgrounds. Shock-absorbing surfaces work by dispersing momentum, reducing the risk of life-threatening injuries.

The surfacing also helps your school or park stand out from the crowd, offering the option of creative patterns and graphics that are not possible with other safety surface materials.
